Many pension schemes require Occupational Health Physician advice or certification of eligibility in order to progress with a pension benefits application. Our OH physicians are experienced in providing objective and independent pension opinions in cases where early payment of pension benefits is being considered. We have a team of OH physicians which allows us to comply with the Independent Registered Medical Practitioner requirements for the Local Government Pension Scheme. To ensure appropriate documentation is provided and the correct clinician is allocated the case, it is important that referrals for Ill Health Retirement decisions are notified to us at the time of booking.
